The Haiphong Waterway Transportation Assurance Corporation has announced adjustments to the ferry schedule at Dong Bai – Cai Vieng pier, effective from April 25th.
According to the announcement, Dong Bai ferry terminal will be open from 5:30 AM to 7:30 PM daily, starting from the first departure at 5:30 AM and ending at 7:30 PM.
The ferry from Cai Vieng pier will operate from 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with the first departure at 5:00 AM and the last at 7:00 PM.
During peak days with high passenger traffic, the ferry terminal will increase the number of trips to meet passenger demand.
It’s worth noting that there have been changes to the ferry schedule compared to before. Currently, the ferry from Dong Bai terminal operates from 5:30 AM to 6:30 PM, while from Cai Vieng terminal, it operates from 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
During the holidays on April 30th and May 1st, as per the plan of the Haiphong Department of Transport to serve the travel needs of the people, two companies, Haiphong Road Transport Corporation and Haiphong Waterway Transportation Assurance Corporation, will collaborate in transportation. It is expected to serve approximately 10,000 passengers per day (excluding bicycles, motorcycles, accompanying vehicles), and during peak times, ferries will operate continuously to accommodate the maximum number of passengers, estimated at around 13,500 passengers per day.
