Hue City Tour one day itinerary Detail
Morning:
Pick up at the hotel (center) 8:00 – 8:30 AM – Driver and guide will pick you up at your hotel in Hue. You will enjoy the view of the Perfume River on a dragon boat and be taken to the most sacred spot in Hue-Thien Mu Pagoda.
Getting into Thien Mu Pagoda, the first impression is the Phuoc Duyen tower (7 storeys – 21 meters) – the symbol of Thien Mu Pagoda (also known as Linh Mu). Besides, Thien Mu Pagoda is also a gallery displaying the relics of the Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duc with a seemingly intact car and photographs of him.
Next, visitors will explore the Hue Imperial of the Nguyen Dynasty (the Citadel) – one of the majestic places with the unique architecture of the ancient kings. Entering the Citadel, visitors are recalled as lost in the old Imperial Palace through rituals.
Noon:
After visiting the Citadel, we visit Dong Ba Market to see the daily life of local people.
Then enjoy your lunch at the local restaurant. After that, you can relax your feet in herbal water after lunch.
Afternoon:
The driver and guide will take you to visit the Khai Dinh Mausoleum – The uniqueness of the art of pottery and colored glass brought the Khai Dinh Mausoleum magnificent beauty.
After that, Minh Mang King’s Tomb, one is impressed by the majesty and symmetry of the architectural constructions. Then transfer to a conical hat-making village, an incense stick-making village. Take a rest here a few minutes before coming back to the hotel, you can take many nice photos with two of these places.
