InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort

InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort is built on the hills of Son Tra Peninsula in Da Nang City, a famous tourist hotspot. The establishment was also honored as the world’s leading green resort at World Travel Award 2018.

It has a beach stretching 700 meters where visitors can enjoy the warm sunshine, soak up the cool seawater or sit under the coconut trees and enjoy refreshing drinks. From here, visitors can easily visit natural ecological areas and explore the life of endangered red-shanked douc langurs. In addition, visitors can also visit Linh Ung Pagoda on the peninsula, boasting a 67-meter-high Bodhisattva statue.

The resort has 201 luxurious rooms, suites, penthouses, and villas that offer views of sandy beaches and tropical forests covering Son Tra Peninsula, which acts as a natural shield for Da Nang.

Six Senses Ninh Van Bay Resort

Located on Ninh Van Bay in the south central province of Khanh Hoa, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay Resort consists of 54 villas covering an area of lush greenery. Behind the resort lies a range of hills, home to rare monkeys on the brink of extinction. All villas facing the sea have a private swimming pool, garden or sun terrace.

The only way to access the resort, around 60 kilometers from Nha Trang, is by boat, which takes around 20 minutes. Each room costs from VND10 million ($439) a night.

The resort offers visitors experiences like climbing, visiting Nha Phu Bay on wooden boats, kayaking, fishing and snorkeling.

American lifestyle magazine Veranda last April named Six Senses Ninh Van Bay among the world’s 30 best resorts for 2021.

The forested hills surrounding the isolated bay are inaccessible by road and therefore protected from poaching and habitat encroachment by farming and development. These hills are home to endangered black-shanked douc langurs.

Banyan Tree Lang Co

Banyan Tree Lang Co in Phu Loc District in the central province of Thua Thien-Hue is a complex resort built on Lang Co Bay, famous for its pristine beaches, majestic mountains and tropical forests. The resort features 32 lagoon pool villas, seven beach pool villas and 10 well-being pool villas.

Golfers can tee off at the Sir Nick Faldo-designed 18-hole championship golf course, meandering through rice paddies and streams against the backdrop of a mountain range.

Crown Retreat Quy Nhon

Located along Trung Luong Beach in Phu Cat District, Crown Retreat Quy Nhon in the south central province of Binh Dinh has a private beach, sea-facing swimming pool, restaurant, bar, and garden.

Visitors to the resort should drop by Trung Luong Camping Site, hidden in a small valley by the beach 10 kilometers from Ky Co. A tent here costs VN300,000 and can accommodate two people.

The resort has 50 modern European-style bungalows all facing the sea and set apart from each other. They cost VND3.4 – 6.2 million per night. It provides visitors the chance to explore nearby sights like Ong Nui Pagoda, featuring the tallest Buddha statue in Southeast Asia.
